4 sets
20 light reps of dumbbell floor press immediately followed by maximum amount of reps of narrow hand position push-ups.
15 heavier reps of dumbbell floor press immediately followed by maximum amount of reps of narrow hand position push-ups.
12 heavier reps of dumbbell floor press immediately followed by maximum amount of reps of narrow hand position push-ups.
10 heavy reps of dumbbell floor press immediately followed by maximum amount of reps of narrow hand position push-ups.
Note: Increase dumbbell weight each set. Perform maximum amount of reps possible of the push –up until you can’t successfully complete 1 more rep with proper form. In a narrow hand position, your hands will be placed inside your shoulder area rather than wider regular push up hand placement and they should be right at the bottom of your bra line and at the beginning of your rib cage. This hand position places emphasis on your triceps. Get at least a minimum of 12 reps on the push-ups each set. See video for modification.
